Welcome to GCBRITE ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our student-to-student marketplace website located at https://gcbrite.live/ ("Website"), operated by the GCBRITE admin.
By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, please do not use our Website.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use GCBRITE. Our services are exclusively intended for students of Gordon College in Olongapo City, Zambales, Philippines.
To access GCBRITE, you must:
- Log in with a Gordon College domain email (via Google sign-in).
2. Account Security
Access to GCBRITE requires signing in with a valid Gordon College domain email via Google. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activities conducted through your account. We may suspend or deny access if your credentials are misused or compromised.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use GCBRITE for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful content
- Use bots or automated systems to interact with the platform
- Post prohibited, illegal, or counterfeit items in listings
- Engage in fraudulent transactions or misrepresent products
- List items unrelated to student needs or campus life (e.g. adult content, weapons)
We reserve the right to remove item listings, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
4. User-Generated Content
Users may post listings, reviews, and other content. By doing so, you:
- Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for the operation of the platform
- Represent that you have the right to post such content
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community standards.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, excluding user-generated content, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of GCBRITE or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or republish any part of the Website without our prior written consent.
6. Disclaimers
GCBRITE is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any listings or user-generated content. While the platform may remove content or suspend accounts that violate our rules, we are not responsible for interactions, transactions, or disputes between users.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GCBRITE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to your account and the Website at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the ‘Last Revised’ date at the top. Continued use of the Website after changes means you accept the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within the Philippines.
